A glam guide to The Linq's Style Lounge & 9 must-read Q&A's

The LINQ is full of day-to-night destinations, including riding the High Roller, taking selfies at Polaroid Fotobar, bowling and live music at Brooklyn Bowl and drinks at BLVD. Cocktail Company. But first—a necessary stop at The Style Lounge to get prepped for Vegas-style adventures.

A one-stop shop, The Style Lounge is the only beauty go-to needed inside The LINQ district. Hair styling, blowouts, nails, makeup, and spray tanning are all offered under one chandelier-studded roof. The head honcho behind the genius idea is Andeen Rose, a longtime hair and makeup pro who manages The Style Lounge in addition to her local agency, ADD Hair and Makeup.

“Our salon design features clean lines, and it’s very elegant and luxurious with silver and white, plus pops of purple because that is our signature color,” Rose says. “Our whole brand standard is affordable luxury. This is really for anyone who wants to have these fun experiences all for a reasonable price.”

Highlighting her favorite trends this season, Rose says: “Braids are the rage, they are everywhere. Also clip-in extensions with pops of color, and pastel ombres. Spring is more romantic, it’s soft, it’s flowy.” She dished on plenty of new info, tips and everything you need to know about her new haute spot, located directly across from Brooklyn Bowl.

Beauty, blowouts and booze collide Centering the salon is a chic bar: “We are the first style lounge with a full service bar, and one of our signature drinks is the Vanitini,” says Rose. “We are doing a bachelorette party shot as well. We really want to create this whole new concept so you can really make it your own when you are looking at planning that special day.”

Do it up VIP style Have a group of girls that want to be pampered in one semi-private area? Featuring different packages, the party room can be booked for bachelorette, bridal, and birthday parties and groups. It features three each of manicure, pedicure, and hair styling stations. And bonus: the only thing separating you from the bar is a beautiful drape curtain. Champagne, please!

Exclusive product lines Rose is a big believer in supporting unique and local businesses, such as the addictive shimmer bronzing cream Gleam by Melanie Mills. Her ADD Hair and Makeup business partner, makeup whiz Didi Perez, is also launching her own lash and brush line, both of which are carried there. Also expect to see Unite, as Rose has brought the cult favorite haircare line to The Style Lounge.

Late hours If late-night fixes are what you need, The Style Lounge boasts extended hours that are unrivaled on the Strip. (They’re open until 11 p.m. Thursday-Saturday.) Rose also mentions it will be always be open seven days per week, 365 days a year. Beauty emergencies solved!

Its signature style is named after the High Roller The Style Lounge’s menu of blowouts include everything from the “Say Yes to the BS (Big and Sexy)” to “It’s A Beautiful Mess” for tousled beach waves. “We have the braid and ponytail lounge, so you can come get really creative braids done from fishtail to waterfall to cascade,” Rose says. “There are so many different braids that are really popular right now on the runway and the red carpet. In a matter of minutes you can walk out with a really cool look.” Its signature look is called The High Roller—modeled after the bun Jennifer Lopez and Sarah Jessica Parker often choose for red carpet appearances.” Right now our menu consists of eight different looks, but variations of each look because not everyone has the same face shape,” she says. “We can customize the looks for you. For women who have finer hair and want longer, luscious hair we have the Ken Paves Hair U Wear clip-in hair extensions for sale, so you can buy them, we’ll put them in and then they go home with you.”

The next best thing to concierge Because Rose is a veteran in the local hospitality and beauty industry, she’s using her connections to help clients plan their dream day. “We have a relationship with Rent the Runway, so if you or a group of you don’t have anything to wear, we work with them where they can bring the dresses to your room and you can try it out,” she says. “If you want a special birthday cake, we can get it. We are working with Ava Rose agency, so anything we need that I can’t secure, they can, from show tickets to a limo. We also have relationships with vendors who can bring fun novelty items in for bachelorette parties.”

*Country band Parmalee hit The Style Lounge to get prepped for their set at The LINQ’s ACM Party For A Cause Festival, and even took a ride in the High Roller before bowling and dining at Brooklyn Bowl.

Spray tan sculpting If you need a little extra va-va-voom to your glow, opt for the “sculpting” spray tan. A customized color blend is mixed for you and darker color is selectively sprayed to make arms, abs and legs look toned and lean. Rose assures us, “You would be surprised at contouring and highlighting—it really is an art. We use product from Bronzed—The Art of Tanning in Vegas. It can really make a big difference.” Why not look extra hot in your Instagram photos? #nofilter

You don’t have to leave your room Don’t feel like venturing out? Opt for room service style. “Everything we offer here, we can travel anywhere in the city, from a house to a hotel room.” Rose selects stylists for in-room bookings and they bring everything needed to get you Vegas ready.

And even the men aren’t left out… Believe it or not, even men are getting blowouts these days. The Style Lounge’s “Men’s Swagger” includes a men’s styling and buff and polish shine on their nails.
