It’s a British invasion! The London-based AllSaints retail brand really only started to infiltrate the states about 10 years ago, but I can’t get enough of its edgy jackets, denim and hand-beaded sequin dresses. There are only a few boutiques in the U.S. and the new 12,000-square-foot Forum Shops at Caesars location is the second in Vegas. This mega-sized, two-story gem is the second largest in the brand’s global portfolio and has been crowned a flagship.
This Las Vegas shopping hot spot carries a few exclusive items, styles and colors so you’re not likely to run into someone else wearing the same thing when you get back home. But the most thrilling exclusive to hit its shelves is the women’s bag capsule collection. The Forum Shops AllSaints is the only place that physically carries the entire 17 piece collection, all made from premium Italian leather. The bags are a follow up to The Biker Project Part 1, which was all about its limited edition set of iconic biker jackets. The style of the bags draws influence from this, with studs and gun metal hardware detailing.
Made from 100 percent cow or lamb, leather jackets are one of AllSaints’ trademarks that I go all “Rachel Zoe” over. The butter-soft fall fashion staples come in a few different colors, from deep burgundy to classic black. I personally loved the Alford Biker, a two-in-one style where the sleeves zip off from exposed zippers to reveal a vest. The store is definitely primed to get you ready for cooler weather, with plenty of sweaters, wraps, coats, boots and skinny jeans. Most of the garments fall into the brand’s signature color palette of black, white, grey, cream and a few deep jewel tones.
The English vibe of the clothes definitely permeates the entire store, and is evident in the interior design aesthetic. Much like its leather and denim, it has an industrial look. Think an exposed ceiling, loft vibe and plenty of brick and wood. The steel beams were imported from London as was the authentic vintage telephone booth that now houses a flat screen for placing internet orders.
As a nod to much of its meticulous stitching and embellishments done by hand, several vintage sewing machines are present throughout the store. The largest one—a Paris import dating back to 1906—is right at the entrance, and was used decades ago to sew sails together for boats. In contrast to the earthy, raw décor, there are also numerous digital display screens streaming unique videos produced by AllSaints Studios.
I don’t know if it was the exclusive handbags, the sequin tops or the jeans with that perfect raw, worn-in look, but I’m definitely making AllSaints my new fall fashion fling.
